Cookie Settings

Chatter Genius uses cookies and similar technologies on chattergenius.ai and related pages to operate the site, secure sessions, remember preferences, and understand how our pages are used. Strictly necessary cookies are always active because the site will not function properly without them. Optional cookies (e.g., analytics) are used only if you consent, and you can change your choices at any time.

What are cookies and similar technologies?

Cookies are small text files placed on your device by a website. They are widely used to make websites work, to keep you signed in, to remember preferences, and to provide aggregated usage statistics. We also use similar technologies such as local storage, session storage, pixels, and tags (collectively, “cookies” for convenience) for comparable purposes.

How we classify cookies

  • Strictly necessary — Required for core functionality such as page navigation, security, fraud prevention, and form processing. Because the site cannot function properly without these, they are always on and cannot be switched off in our systems.
  • Performance & analytics (optional) — Help us measure and improve the performance of our pages, for example by counting visits, understanding which pages are most/least popular, and seeing how visitors move around the site. Set only with your consent.
  • Functional (optional) — Remember choices you make (e.g., language or region) to provide enhanced, more personal features. Set only with your consent.
  • Advertising/targeting — Not used on our marketing site at this time. If this changes, we will update this notice and the consent banner before setting such cookies.

First-party vs. third-party cookies

First-party cookies are set by Chatter Genius (Codex Labs Corp). Third-party cookies may be set by service providers to deliver features like analytics or content delivery. Where a third party places cookies on our pages, that third party may process information for its own purposes as a controller. Please review their notices for details; we provide links where applicable.

Legal bases for using cookies

Where required by law (for example, in the EEA/UK under the ePrivacy regime), we rely on your consent to place optional cookies. We rely on legitimate interests (or equivalent) for strictly necessary cookies because these are essential to provide you with the site and services you request.

Retention and expiration

Cookie lifetimes vary by category and provider. Session cookies expire when you close your browser. Persistent cookies remain until their set expiration date or until you delete them via your browser. Analytics cookies typically persist between 1 day and 13 months, depending on provider settings. We periodically review retention with our vendors.

Your choices and controls

  • Consent banner / preferences — Use the Manage Cookie Preferences button above to enable/disable optional categories at any time. Your choices are stored in a consent cookie so we can honor them on future visits.
  • Browser settings — Most browsers let you block, limit, or delete cookies. Doing so may affect site functionality, especially for strictly necessary cookies.
  • Global Privacy Control (GPC) — Where supported and legally recognized, we treat a valid browser-level GPC signal as a request to opt out of sale/sharing/targeted advertising cookies (we do not deploy such cookies on this site at this time).
  • Do Not Track (DNT) — Industry standards for DNT are not uniform. We honor consent settings made via our banner, and where feasible we avoid setting optional cookies until you opt in.

Platform service cookies (signed-in users)

Our authenticated application (e.g., alpha environments) may set additional strictly necessary cookies to maintain secure sessions after sign-in, including tokens for CSRF protection and session continuity. These are distinct from marketing site cookies and are used solely for authentication integrity and application reliability. Disabling these may prevent you from signing in or using the service.

Third-party providers

We may use service providers to help deliver site functionality and measure performance (for example, CDN services or privacy-centric analytics). Where a provider places cookies, those cookies are controlled by that provider and subject to their terms. We contractually prohibit providers from using data collected via our site for their own advertising purposes.

International transfers

Some providers may process data in countries outside your home jurisdiction. Where applicable, we implement appropriate safeguards (for example, standard contractual clauses) and assess provider practices before enabling their cookies. Optional cookies from such providers will only be set with your consent.

Children's data

Our marketing site is not directed to children. We do not knowingly place optional cookies to profile children or to deliver targeted advertising.

Changes to this notice

We may update this Cookie Settings page to reflect technical, legal, or business changes. The “Effective date” above shows when this page last changed. Material changes will be highlighted in the banner and/or this page.
